In the summer of 2026, new adventures will set sail in Liseberg’s very own archipelago as Stormvåg (Storm Wave) – a brand new family attraction – makes its debut.

The new ride is a Wild Swing XL model, one of the first of its kind. Stormvåg will be located along the riverbank and with its charming boatyard inspired theme, will become a natural part of Liseberg’s beloved 'West Coast' area.

While Wild Swing attractions can already be found elsewhere in Europe, this is one of the first of a new generation – taller, bigger, faster and with even more thrills.

Gröna Lund is spinning up something new for next season. The historic amusement park in Sweden has announced the arrival of Spindeln (The Spider), a family-thrill ride set to debut in summer 2026.

Promising a mix of bounce, spin, and speed, the brand-new attraction is designed to appeal to a wide range of visitors—making it easier than ever for families to share the thrills together.

With space for 42 riders and a minimum height requirement of just 100 cm (39 inches) when accompanied by an adult, Spindeln is accessible to younger guests while still delivering high-energy excitement.

The giant bow measures 16.74 meters wide and 17.15 meters high.
