Parc Bagatelle in France has announced its most ambitious new attraction in recent years: North Storm, a thrilling ride set to open for the 2026 season.

The new ride will be a Typhoon 360 model from Italian manufacturer Technical Park, representing a significant addition to the park’s portfolio and a clear statement of intent as Bagatelle continues to evolve its offering.

Isla Mágica, a popular theme park in Seville, was set to introduce an exciting new attraction for thrill-seekers in 2026  their first 'Wooden Coaster'.

A representative for the manufacturer, Great Coasters International, has confirmed to us that the ride has been cancelled and is not being built.

The new roller coaster was planned to feature a predominantly wooden structure and be built on the picturesque lake at the heart of the park.

Walygator Sud-Ouest is gearing up to welcome a high-octane new roller coaster in 2026: the legendary Speed: No Limits, previously a staple attraction at Oakwood Theme Park in Wales.

The thrilling roller coaster — known for its beyond-vertical 97-degree drop and intense Euro-Fighter design from German manufacturer Gerstlauer — first opened at Oakwood in 2006. Over nearly two decades, it thrilled riders with its vertical lift hill, inversions, and top speeds approaching 100 km/h, before closing in 2024 following the shutdown of the Welsh theme park.

Oakwood Theme Park’s sad closure marked the end of an era for one of the UK’s most distinctive thrill rides. Rather than being scrapped, Speed: No Limits was dismantled and prepared for relocation, ensuring its survival and future operation elsewhere in Europe.

MagicLand has announced a landmark partnership with renowned ride manufacturer Martin & Vleminckx that will see Italy’s first-ever wooden roller coaster debut at the park in 2027.

The new attraction will form a central part of the park’s ambitious multi-year investment and development strategy that will strengthen the park's position as one of Europe’s leading entertainment destinations.
