For the first time ever, Europa-Park in Germany will be opening between the Halloween and Winter seasons.
The park says that the new HALLOWinter season will offer the perfect mix of gruesomely spooky times and wonderful winter magic.
Between 9th - 27th November 2020, witches will wear red pointed hats next to lovingly decorated pumpkin figures.

The popular dark ride Pirates in Batavia reopened today at Europa-Park.
At the end of May 2018, Pirates in Batavia was destroyed in a fire at the park. Europa-Park made the decision to rebuild the attraction, taking the opportunity to update it with new technology and story enhancements.
In addition to over 100 new animatronics, 8 'survivors' of the original ride feature in a 'survivors boat' after being restored.

Every year, for the past 10 years, Patrick Joossens and Vincent De Vriendt have organised a quest to find the best amusement parks and zoological attractions.
21 award categories had been created for the public to vote on in 2020.

Wickieland, a new themed area based on the Studio 100 character 'Vic the Viking' is now open at Majaland Kownaty.
The land includes both the Disk’O Coaster and Splash Battle rides from the very first Wickieland that opened at Plopsaland De Panne in 2014.
This completely new area also includes a Wickie Shop, Wickie Games and a Viking Grill.

Wickieland, a brand new €10 million themed area based on the Studio 100 character 'Wickie de Viking' is coming to Holiday Park in 2021 and will have three new rides.
The attractions will include both the Disk’O Coaster and Splash Battle rides from the very first Wickieland that opened at Plopsaland De Panne in 2014.
This completely new area is currently under construction and in addition to the three new rides, it will also include a new restaurant and a playground.

The new roller coaster Pitts Special is now open at PowerPark in Finland.
It begins with a vertical lift up to a height of 43.5 m (142.7 ft). From the top of the tower, each 8-seater train plunges at an 85-degree angle toward the ground at 100 km/h (62.1 mph). In total, the roller coaster has a length of 693 m (2,273.6 ft) and subjects riders to a force of 4.5 g.
Pitts Special is a custom Infinity Coaster from the German manufacturer Gerstlauer.
