In 2025, Walibi Holland will debut a pair of duelling RMC Raptor roller coasters, each offering riders a unique experience.
This cutting-edge new attraction, named 'YOY', promises to offer an unforgettable experience for both families and thrill-seekers with a blend of intense airtime, high-speed maneuvers, and a unique dual-track layout.
The new single-rail roller coasters are scheduled to open at Walibi Holland in April 2025.
Built by Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC), the Raptor model has garnered a reputation for delivering some of the most intense and heart-pounding experiences on the market. Unlike traditional roller coasters, the RMC Raptor features a single-rail track, allowing for a more compact design without sacrificing the thrilling sensations that come with inversions, steep drops, and rapid twists.
Walibi Holland’s upcoming rides will push the boundaries of this design by adding a dual-track element, allowing riders to experience the ride side-by-side with a friend or stranger. This feature will be a first for RMC and promises an entirely new layer of excitement, with the potential for competitive racing or synchronized thrills. These duelling tracks mean that two distinct experiences can be offered on each side:
Chill
- No inversions
- Interactive elements
- Takes as long as the thrill side
- Almost touch the thrill side
Thrill
- Six inversions
- 30 meters high
- 82 km/h
- Top Gun Inversion
Themed to fit seamlessly into Walibi Holland’s vibrant atmosphere, the duel-track RMC Raptors will feature a sleek, futuristic design that complements the park's commitment to innovation. The ride is expected to have multiple inversions, high-speed drops, and tight, rapid turns that will keep riders on the edge of their seats.
