Mirabilandia, Italy’s largest amusement park, has unveiled its new €20 million Nickelodeon Land, which officially opens to the public today.

In partnership with Paramount, this brand-new themed area brings all the beloved characters of Nickelodeon to life in an immersive 25,000-square-metre world—the first of its kind in an Italian theme park.

A special launch event held on April 16 treated 40 lucky season pass holders and select guests to an exclusive sneak peek filled with live shows, surprises, and meet-and-greet moments with fan-favourite characters like SpongeBob SquarePants, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dora the Explorer, and the heroic pups of PAW Patrol.

Developed with a €20 million investment, Nickelodeon Land is designed to delight children, teens, and families alike with 10 colourful, adventure-packed attractions and interactive experiences. Their exclusive agreement with Paramount makes Mirabilandia the only amusement park in Italy to host an official Nickelodeon-themed area, solidifying its reputation as a top-tier tourist destination.

Highlights of Nickelodeon Land include:

• Cowabunga Carts – A new family coaster inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, racing through dynamic urban landscapes.
• SpongeBob and Friends – Featuring the largest pineapple house recreation in Europe, at 165 square metres, this new attraction brings the quirky world of Bikini Bottom to life.
• PAW Patrol Adventure Bay – Complete with the pups’ iconic control tower and miniature rescue vehicles.
• Dora’s Train Adventure – A musical journey through the jungle with Dora the Explorer.
• Boots’ Balloons – Soar high in a balloon ride with Dora’s trusty monkey companion.
• Jellyfish Jam – A vertical adventure among the jellyfish of the underwater Bikini Bottom.
• Bikini Bottom Express – A high-speed ride through SpongeBob’s vibrant aquatic world.
• PAW Patrol To The Rescue – A thrilling coaster simulating a daring rescue mission.
• Rubble’s Rapids – A splash-filled water ride for the whole family.
• Adventure Bay Carousel – A gentle ride in the PAW Patrol’s scenic seaside town.

The new themed area is rounded out with three immersive restaurants, two character meet-and-greet zones, and an official Nickelodeon store—allowing visitors to take home a piece of their adventure.

Elsewhere in Europe, there are currently Nickelodeon-themed areas at Blackpool Pleasure Beach (UK) Movie Park Germany, and Parque de Atracciones Madrid (Spain).
